AMD Radeon software just received a big update, is ready for Windows 11

As is the case with all other companies producing PC products or services, AMD has officially prepared its Radeon software and graphics drivers for Windows 11. Since updating to version 21.9.1 of the software, Windows 11 can now benefit from a range of performance and graphics enhancement features such as Radeon Anti-Lag, Radeon Image Sharpening and Radeon Boost. That’s a lot of Radeon!

But that’s not all. If you don’t want to upgrade to the latest version of Windows before the October 5, 2021 release date, there are still driver updates to look forward to on your Windows 7 or Windows 10 machine (although in between those two, you will need Windows 10 for the full list of Radeon Software benefits). Expect support for the following:

VPN offers: lifetime license for $ 16, monthly plans for $ 1 and more

  • Death loop
  • Call of Duty Vanguard Open Beta
  • Smart Access Memory (SAM) on Radeon RX 5000 GPUs

If you are wondering what SAM technology is, the brief explanation is that it is an asset transfer optimization solution that can improve hardware performance while gaming. NVIDIA has this, although ‘it bears a different name on the Green Team side of the best graphics cards (resizable bar support).

If you want to know how to activate Smart Access Memory on your PC, we have a guide for it.

The GPU driver update version 21.9.1 also offers many fixes for AMD-specific issues, which you can read in detail at the above links to AMD’s support and community blog pages.
