She added: “And thank you to the one and only @katrinaselegantevents who turned our house into a winter wonderland.”

Her perspective stems from her childhood experience of being sexually assaulted by a parent and then in disbelief by her own mother.

“As a kid, when you’re deprived of things that make you feel good, integrity and security, it’s hard to see anything trustworthy coming forward,” Jeannie explained.

“I realized that the reason I didn’t want to have children is that this feeling when I was a kid was so real and so damaging that I’m 42 today still facing issues. of confidence, confidence and the ability to believe that I will stop something if something happens to me, I will stand up for myself.

She emotionally shared, “I think the reason I always said I didn’t want kids was because I didn’t trust myself to protect someone else from this. The truth is, it still scares me if I can do this again, you know. It always scares me whether or not I can keep a child from someone else who might hurt them.

Jeannie continued, “It scares me if my kid will be in a situation and can’t tell me, or if I won’t be there to help him. Something could happen. Even now, even now, I still think. – I’m five months old – I think every day that something could happen and that my baby will be taken from me.

When she and Jeezy first met they were both comfortable with the prospect of not having children together as she was averse to becoming a mother and he already had two sons and a girl.

However, as their relationship blossomed, they both eventually changed their minds and decided they wanted to ‘build again’.

During the video, which she posted in October, she said she “never felt so ready” and “was meant to be a mom.”
