Sarine launches Advisor 8.0 – the most advanced rough planning software to date

(PRESS RELEASE) HOD HASHARON, ISRAEL — Singapore Exchange Mainboard and Tel Aviv Exchange have listed Sarine Technologies Ltd (“Sarine” and with its subsidiaries “the Group”) (U77: SI; SARN.TA), a global leader in the development, manufacturing, the marketing and sale of precision technology products for the appraisal, planning, processing, measurement, grading and trading of diamonds and gemstones, announces the launch of its new, most advanced version of its software industry-leading Advisor rough diamond planning tool – Advisor 8.0.

Having witnessed a growing trend over the past four years to apply ever more technology to smaller rough diamonds, we have risen to the challenge and are introducing a solution specifically designed to benefit this very important segment of the diamond chain. worth, in which about 900 million stones are polished annually. While, as in 2018, only 120,000 rough stones under 15 points (0.15 carats) were scanned by its Galaxy family of in-house inclusion scanning systems, last year in 2021 this segment represented almost a quarter of all stones processed – no less than 7 million stones. Advisor 8.0 thus implements features specifically designed for rough diamond polishers in this submarket. Advisor 8.0 is just one part of a chain of upcoming developments, which will strengthen its offerings for the small stones segment. Notably, this trend has also manifested itself in the dramatic proliferation of its Meteoritesa model.

However, the small stones segment will not be the only ones to benefit from its new Advisor version. Sarine’s engineers continued to innovate and found ways to generate more value for all of its intermediary customers. Its latest version incorporates over 20 new features as well as refinement of existing processes, all focused on three main drivers – generating more value, by extracting a more polished yield from a given rough stone, increased productivity – operating cycles shorter and increased automation – reducing the need for human interaction and thus excluding possible human errors, allowing offline operation (off-peak / off-shift hours), including autonomous operation during the night and even recovery automatic in the event of a system failure (e.g. interruption of the power supply).

Finally, as it continues to be plagued by attempts to misuse its intellectual property, in order to further protect its clients’ investment and widen the gap between the value reaped by its clients and that performed by users of older hacked versions of Advisor on the market, we have applied very sophisticated in-house developed state-of-the-art anti-piracy protection algorithms, which, as they are not a common target for international hacking syndicates, will, in our view, outlaw most illegal attempts to penetrate its defences.

David Block, CEO of Sarine Technologies, said, “We are delighted to introduce the latest and most advanced version of Advisor. It will improve performance, accelerate productivity and enhance the overall value of its leading mid-tier offerings, while strengthening its determined stance against piracy.
