Universal Orlando Resort Survey provides insight into the hotel connected to the Epic Universe theme park

A new Universal Orlando Resort survey focused on Universal Express Pass also mentioned Epic Universe, the resort’s next theme park. We haven’t heard much news about Epic Universe over the past few months, but it won’t open for a few years and is expected to be Universal’s largest park in the United States.

The survey made us choose multiple times between three different on-site hotel options at Universal Orlando Resort, or choose to stay somewhere other than the Universal property. Each hotel option indicated how far away from Universal Parks it would be, including how far away from Epic Universe.

Most options place Epic Universe within a 10-15 minute bus ride from Epic Universe. Some, however, say the hotel would be inside the Epic Universe.

Concept art of the epic universe of Universal

There have been “rumors” of a hotel connected to Epic Universe, which concept art corroborates with the large building at the top center.

The hotel choices had many different options for Universal Express Pass. Some indicated a reduction on the pass for all three parks, some included it for Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure but not Epic Universe, some included it for all three parks, and some did not. at all.

When choosing a hotel option that did not fully include the Universal Express Pass, we were asked if we would purchase it separately.

Most hotel options were listed within 5 minutes of Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, but some were also a 10-15 minute bus ride away. Some options also did not include admission to Earl Park.

One of the last questions was about the likelihood of us purchasing a Universal Express Pass, Universal VIP Tour, Character Meals, Disney Dining Plan, or Disney Genie + Service while traveling in Orlando.
