The new theme park will offer several rides, interactive attractions, thematic play landscapes and water areas with “muddy puddles”.
“What you’re going to get is a full day of fun for all ages and all demographics, but it’s really for our youngest ‘pigs.’ So this 2-6 year old is really our wheelhouse to come along. experience it all. All the rides were designed with that in mind. They can play, ride and do whatever we have to offer, “said Keith Carr, Peppa Pig Project Director.
One of the rides is Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster.
Guests will take a ride with Daddy Pig in his recognizable red car and embark on an unexpected adventure when Mr. Bull “digging the road” sends guests on a meandering exploration of Daddy Pig’s new shortcut, the executives described.
“It’s pretty exciting for a kid to experience their first roller coaster, but it won’t be too intimidating for the youngest of the piggies,” Carr explained.
Some of the other attractions include Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure, Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride, and the colorful Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride.
In addition to family attractions, the standalone theme park will also include Peppa Pig’s Treehouse, Rebecca Rabbit’s Playground, a movie theater to relax and watch Peppa Pig shows, free games, and even a muddy wading pool that will be complete with slides, aquatic surprises and fun.
Peppa Pig and several of her friends will also be walking around the park for families to meet.
The new theme park will have a separate ticket and will be within walking distance of the Legoland Hotel, Legoland Pirate Island Hotel, and the Legoland Florida Theme Park entrance.
Merlin Entertainment, which manages the Legoland parks, has entered into an exclusive multi-territory agreement with Hasbro, owner of Peppa Pig.
“This park allows parents to see the smiles on their children’s faces and the children to have lasting memories,” Carr concluded.
Parents with “little pigs” can be among the first to hear big news from the new theme park by register here.
A limited number of annual passes and vacation packages are on sale now.
